PBGN Mission

The Professional Businesswomen's Golf Network exists to promote the game of golf to women, to encourage the use of golf as a networking tool, and to encourage girls to learn the game.

We Golf

PBGN plays golf twice each month on the weekends at courses in and around Houston. Additionally, we play on Thursday evenings from March through October in a league format at Cypress Lakes GC. These events are non-competitive designed to enjoy the game of golf.

PBGN also sponsors three tournaments each year: a Member-Guest Scramble in the Spring, a Members Tournament in the Fall, and a Match Play Tournament which runs throughout the year.

We Network

PBGN was founded in 1993. Many of our ladies have been members for more than 10 years and some date back to the beginning.

We hold quarterly social/business meetings that we call our “Tee Off Receptions”. These are usually in the downtown area. We may have a guest speaker, or a trivia contest, or a raffle while we enjoy a meal together.

Our networking starts on the golf course but extends to dinners and other events.

We Give Back

Each year PBGN selects a deserving junior golf girls organization to sponsor. We raise funds throughout the year and then invite the girls and their parents to a Tee Off Reception so that we can meet them and encourage them personally.

We have selected a variety of schools, clubs and occasionally individuals to sponsor. Each year we go through the selection process again.
